Low intensity operations [ from the album 'Net' ]

feat. Webster Tarpley & Richard Heinberg from Oil, Smoke & Mirrors by Ronan Doyle

Low intensity operations

As Webster Tarpley explains in this track, if you know of a rebel faction somewhere in the world and you have a political agenda of control, what’s the easiest way to achieve that goal?

Simple: clone the rebel faction with a meaner, harder, more fundamentalist version; commit atrocities in the name of this organisation; then feed it to the media.

Al Qaeda are just one relatively benign organisation fighting for human rights in the Middle East that have been overshadowed by the CIA/MI6/Mossad version and given a bad name.

It’s a disastrous situation.

Low intensity operations

[Webster Tarpley]
low intensity operations

if you’ve got
an underground nationalist organisation
and you wanna discredit them
you create a false flag
it’s gotta have the same name
have it commit tremendous atrocities
and you gain political advantage
it’s called
low intensity operations
the technique of the pseudo gang

[Richard Heinberg & Webster Tarpley]
it’s a disastrous situation
low intensity operations
it’s a disastrous situation
low intensity operations

[Richard Heinberg]
the world has changed
profoundly
as a result of that so-called terrorist event
and yet there’s absolutely no
real investigative reporting about it
in the mainstream media

instead we have a lot of very courageous
independent investigative journalists
who find it impossible to get their work
published in the mainstream media

[Richard Heinberg & Webster Tarpley]
it’s a disastrous situation
low intensity operations
it’s a disastrous situation
low intensity operations

[Webster Tarpley]
al qaeda
is a pseudo gang
created by us, british and israeli intelligence
it’s a counter-gang against anybody
with any positive agenda
anywhere in the arab world

[Richard Heinberg & Webster Tarpley]
it’s a disastrous situation
low intensity operations
it’s a disastrous situation
low intensity operations

[Richard Heinberg]
the world has changed
